Sam is a fire engineering consultant with over 18 years’ experience, he specialises in fire safety engineering for building design and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) Modelling. Sam has considerable experience of leading the fire engineering design on a large number of varied projects both internationally and across the UK. These include residential buildings, large scale hotels, transport infrastructure, warehouses and healthcare facilities.

Founder / Director

Thomas’ role is to develop bespoke, imaginative and practical fire strategy for a variety of schemes within both monetary and timescale constraints while ensuring maximum architectural freedom is achieved. Thomas has experience in a wide range of sectors including educational, residential, offices, commercial, mixed use developments, railway stations, stadia and warehouses to name a few.

Associate Director

Diana is an Associate Director, with particular expertise in fire dynamics, CFD modelling, and the thermo-mechanical response of structures in fire. Diana’s approach to fire safety is always a pragmatic one, aiming to provide robust, optimised and innovative solutions to achieve the client’s design aspirations and ultimately provide the required level of safety for the end user.

Eoghan's passion for fire safety began with intentions to go into the "family business" of firefighting. However, a desire to have a more definitive influence on the preservation of life and property drove him towards a career in fire engineering consultancy. Since joining the industry, Eoghan has contributed to and managed a diverse portfolio of projects including large warehouses, residential conversions and schools.

Associate

Joana is a senior fire engineering consultant with eleven years of experience across Portugal and the UK. She started her career in fire safety in Portugal in 2013 after completing a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Protection Engineering at ISEC Lisboa - Higher Institute of Education and Sciences.

Kevin is a fire engineer with civil-engineering roots, holding a BEng from Indonesia and an MSc in Fire Safety Engineering through the Erasmus-funded IMFSE programme. Combining technical expertise with a creative edge, Kev enjoys coding innovative solutions to enhance workflows and tackle challenging problems.

Senior Fire Engineer

Kirsty is a fire engineer who joined our London team after six years in Auckland, New Zealand. With a master’s degree in Fire Engineering from the University of Canterbury, she has delivered fire strategies for a wide range of projects, from industrial facilities to major healthcare developments.

Lead Software Developer

Ian is Fire Dynamics’ lead software developer. Having worked previously as both a fire engineering consultant and a software developer, he is uniquely qualified to develop new technologies to further the fire engineering field. Ian has commercial experience across a range of digital technologies through developing web based and mobile applications across multiple sectors. At Fire Dynamics, he builds in-house software and tooling. These tools aim to expand the company into new fire engineering capabilities, undertake research and improve efficiency and consistency in our existing processes.

Founder / Operations Support

Rachel has supported Fire Dynamics’ operations since the company was founded. She has embraced the challenge of developing a wide range of new skills and is currently working towards her ATT qualifications in Bookkeeping.

Finance Manager

Hatice is a Finance Manager with over 11 years’ experience in finance and accounting and has been ACCA qualified since 2021. She has worked across both practice and engineering consultancy environments, with a strong grounding in technical accounting and operational finance.
